We are Sheroc Red Standard Poodles Located in the northern tip of Arizona and the Southern Part of Utah. My
husband and myself are passionate about the Standard poodle and want to breed only the very best. My husband was
raised with the Standard Poodle and grew up with them. I came from Irish setters , so as you can imagine the Irish
Setter red standard poodles fits very well in our home. WE live on 3 acres fenced and the poodles run the property,
they get along well with the horses and are very protective without being mean or aggressive in anyway. Lets just say we
are not concerned about break ins around here :) The neighbors respect the poodles...
We keep telling the poodles(Especially Nikki ) that the garbage man is NOT stealing our stuff :)
And we keep telling her the UPS man is bringing us stuff... He is our friend HA HA !
Red Standard Poodles are still fairly rare, they have become very popular in the last couple of years. They are always the
talk of the town with their beautiful vivid coloring. These Reds do attract a huge amount of attention. People have
walked up to me & asked where in the world did I get a dog that beautiful color, as they had never seen one before. I
love to take them to the dogs shows and watch peoples reaction. If you want a dog that no one else is going to have, a
Red Standard Poodle is for you! Please make sure when shopping for your new red baby that the breeder is testing for
genetic diseases. We test our Poodles as well as do genetic color testing. We feel very strongly that it is important to
breed only the very best. So with this in mind we are very careful where the puppies go, we are not interested in selling to
designer dog breeders. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone. Please keep this in mind when calling us ..
We are very animal oriented here, the poodles and Clancey all live in the house ( probably a good thing the horse wont
fit :), we do not believe in having kennel dogs. We are a very small dog family and only have the number of dogs we can
maintain in our home and our lives without restricting our daily contact with them. Our idea of a perfect evening is
sitting by the fire pit in our dark sky community with a pack of poo around us..
We plan a litter for the improvement of the breed and especially the improvement of the Red Standard Poodle overall.
Please understand that we breed for ourselves and Carefully place the rest of the babies. Please see the past litters Page
for testimonials from previous puppy buyers.
We do test our dogs and are very careful where the puppies go,As we cannot keep them all, we offer them to very select
special families. A lot of breeders will say that their dogs are genetically tested and they are not , please take a look at
the testing on each of our dogs page, this is what you should see , not an opinion by some vet , not a 3 year old eye cerf,
up to date positively identifiable testing, and certainly not that they think the parents were clear , where is the proof.Ask
to see it . Somewhere that breeder should have something that is certified by someone, if not stay away save your
money, they charge the same amount for their puppies as breeders who do test. Or perhaps it will look like a bargain it is
not........In America the dog must be positively identified by either microchip or tattoo before they can be certified. I
have no idea what other countries do. Our dogs and puppies are all micro chipped.
At this time we are offering puppies on a Spay/Neuter Contracts or a limited registration .
The questionnaire is mandatory. We are not really interested in selling breeding animals and if we do,,, we will co own
There is no exception ! This is for the protection of our dogs please understand..
We will place select poodle puppies in show/full registration homes by private treaty. Please ask.
We will take back and re home your puppy for their LIFETIME should the puppy family experience life changes that
would prevent them from keeping their Sheroc Standard Poodle, puppy or adult. We do reserve this right.

We genetically color test our dogs so we know what color they will be .Rojo's genetic color
test back and he is BB which means that he is Red with hidden black and carries no
possibility of producing brown or chocolate ..
Sadie is: BBee cream-white-red-apricot with hidden black genes Dark black points (NOSE
COLOR)
They will not have any brown noses. We only breed for black noses eye rims and lips.
This is what AKC says about nose color " Liver-colored noses, eye-rims and lips, and
amber eyes are permitted but are not desirable" You are buying a registered dog it
should be bred to meet the standard you are PAYING for that make sure you get what you
pay for :)

| We feed and recommend Evangers. Our poodles thrive on the Pheasant dry, and the duck and sweet potato canned. The food is easy to get you can order it online at :http://evangersdogfood.com/dog/ And they will deliver it right to your door. Check the website for distributors in your area. |
Ethical at home breeders make huge investments in quality breeding stock and take
excellent care of their dogs. Ethical breeders do genetic testing on their dogs and breed
only the best. Breeders work very closely with their Veterinarians to keep all of their dogs
in tip-top shape; as health is everything when raising and caring for dogs. Some people will
buy a puppy because they feel sorry for it ..Dont ! It will cost much more in heartache and
medical bills. If you can’t afford to buy from an ethical breeder please go to the Humane
Society and adopt one of the many dogs that are available. And lastly please do not buy
from a pet store, pet stores support the puppy mills , pet stores do not care about you or
your puppy after the sale...I have known people that have purchased from a pet store and
things did not go well . Pet stores are a great source for pet food and toys not for puppies...
